Eligible costs and funding rates
Staff and other costs related to the development project can be funded with a 25 to 60% subsidy of the project budget, with a minimum budget equivalent to support of € 25.000 and a maximum of € 500.000 for this call. More information can be found here.

Business Finland
Funding from Business Finland is intended for challenging and innovative research, development, and innovation projects. For more information on eligible costs and funding rates, please see www.businessfinland.fi/en/for-finnish-customers/services/funding
In this call Business Finland may fund individual Finnish companies as well as groups of Finnish companies participating in the joint international project. Research organisations may also be funded, provided that at least one Finnish for-profit company is participating in the same project consortium. Individual companies apply for R&D funding (instructions for small and midcap companies and large companies). Funding for groups of Finnish companies and for joint participation of Finnish companies and Finnish research organisations in the international consortia is applied as Co-Innovation funding. In Co-innovation funding, the combined total costs of public research organisations may not exceed 60 %. The funding from Business Finland is competitive funding. The assessment also takes into account any other funding applications and the indirect effects of the joint project.
The applicants will be advised in detail about the applicable rules by Business Finland contact persons prior to submitting the Eureka application.
Research Council of Lithuania
Type of funding: Grant
Call for projects budget: 1 million euro.
Eligible costs are as follows:
- Personnel costs: salaries, social security contributions, taxes, and any supplementary payments made to employees under national law and benefits schemes paid by the company.
- Travel costs.
- Fixed assets.
- Indirect costs (overhead): 3%
Funding rates: reach up to 80% for industrial entities and up to 100% for research institutions. Lithuania funds projects led by SME with at least one Lithuanian university partner. Call budget is up to 1 million euro. Project budget is up to 300.000 euro.
NCBR- Poland
NCBR can fund a proportion of industrial research and development works project costs. This proportion depends on the size of your business:
- Micro or small enterprise: Up to 80% for industrial research, up to 70% for development works.
- Medium-sized enterprise: Up to 80% for industrial research, up to 60% for development works.
- Large enterprise: Up to 75% for industrial research, up to 50% for development works.
- Research-performing and/or knowledge-disseminating organisation: 100% for both industrial research and development works.
Basic levels:
- Industrial research: 50%
- Development works: 25%
NCBR’s maximum total project grant to Polish applicants is PLN 1,5 m, with no more than PLN 750,000 per partner. Large enterprises as well as research and knowledge disseminating organisations can be leaders or partners on the project but cannot apply individually.

DoIT- Taiwan
Companies can apply for grant funding up to 50% of the eligible costs depending on the industrial impact of the project in accordance with the A+ Program. DoIT’s budget is available for qualified projects.
Prior to the submission of the application forms, the applicants are recommended to get in touch with DoIT for a pre-check of their project ideas and eligibility.

The applicants (companies only) with Eureka labelled project are eligible to apply for funding under the A+ Program. The proposal must include abstract, detailed project and budget plan as requested in the A+ Program.
RVO- The Netherlands
Under the program funded by RVO, only R&D costs are eligible for funding. Enterprises and research institutes can apply for grant funding up to 50% depending on the type of organization and the type of activities:
- Large companies: 35% for research activities, 25% for development activities
- SMEs: 45% for research activities, 35% for development activities
- Universities/research organisations: 50% for research activities, 25% for development activities
The maximum funding (grant) per project is 350.000 EUR. The total budget at RVO for this call is approximately 1 million EUR.
