Innowwide

The Innowwide Call 4 Guidelines set out the full framework for the call, including the programme’s purpose and the 60,000 euro lump-sum grant scheme for six‑month market feasibility projects led by innovative SMEs from eligible countries (EU member states, Iceland, Israel, Norway, Switzerland, Türkiye and the United Kingdom). They set out the eligibility criteria, such as SME status validation, minimum project cost (86,000 euro), the minimum combination of eligible activities and the requirement to collaborate with one independent local subcontractor in a non‑European target market where the applicant intends to test and adapt their innovation to local conditions.

The guidelines also describe the application procedure via the SmartSimple platform, including the submission of a workplan in a mandatory template, and the requirement for the subcontractor to complete their commitment form on the platform.

The evaluation process is detailed through the three criteria used by experts – Excellence, Impact, and Quality and Efficiency of Implementation, each with specific scoring and thresholds requirements. The document outlines how evaluations are conducted and how the evaluation and ethics panels review proposals before funding decisions are made.

Finally, the guidelines describe contracting steps following selection, grant payment structure, monitoring rules and reporting obligations.
