Walloon organisations participating in international R&D projects are eligible for funding through our Network projects, Globalstars, Eurostars and Clusters programmes. If you are an organisation based in Wallonia and seeking funding for an R&D project, your first point of contact is with Service Public de Wallonie (SPW)-Research. SPW-Research supports Walloon organisations interested in international collaboration giving them access to expertise and supporting their growth.

SPW-Research can help you to find project partners by contacting other national funding bodies in Eureka’s network (consisting of over 45 member countries). Advice services and support tools

SPW-Research (through its agency NCP-Wallonie) offers customised advice and support from concept to commercialisation for organisations collaborating on international R&D projects. Organisations who benefit from NCP-Wallonie’s expert support are twice as successful when applying for project funding. SPW-Research offers additional support that complements Eureka’s funding programmes, such as Prime Horizon 2020, which provides grants of up to 10,000 euro for SMEs preparing international project submissions.

In the absence of any national funding support, it is still possible to participate in a project by self-funding.
