Eurostars funding information for Sweden
SME
Eurostars is part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. The partnership is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.
Swedish funding body, Vinnova (Sweden’s Innovation Agency), funds R&D costs for SMEs participating in our Eurostars programme.
Vinnova covers up to 50% of project costs for SMEs.
The maximum funding amount is a grant of 5 million Swedish krona per project.
Your international proposal is made in Euros. The rate between Euro and SEK is determined on the day the call for proposals opens and the rate can be found here – Swedish krona (SEK) (europa.eu).
Large company

Vinnova covers up to 30% of project costs for large companies.
The maximum funding amount is a grant of 2 million Swedish krona per project OR a grant of 5 milllion Swedish krona per project if there is a Swedish SME in your consortium.

Research organisation or university
Eurostars is part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. The partnership is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe.
Swedish funding body, Vinnova (Sweden’s Innovation Agency) funds R&D costs for universities and research organisations participating in our Eurostars programme.
Vinnova covers up to 70% of project costs for universities or research organisations.
The maximum funding amount is a grant of 2 million Swedish krona per project OR a grant of 5 milllion Swedish krona per project if there is a Swedish SME in your consortium.
